Atop has a wide range of Unified Protocol Gateways that provide protocol conversion between all protocols thus ensuring smooth communication between legacy devices and newer generation devices. The Protocol Gateways are highly reliable and fault tolerant. They allow seamless conversion between Ethernet and serial devices communicating on different protocols that are popular in power plant sub-stations. Standards include Modbus, Profibus, IEC 61850, IEC 60870 – 5 – 104, IEC 60870 – 5 – 101, IEC 60870 – 5 – 103 and DNP3.
